The making of this print quickly became more complicated than what it was originally planned to be… I didn’t have that much time to start with so I thought I wouldn’t make a print that would be too difficult. It started as a simple drawing but as the process went on I felt I needed it to come to life somehow and then added the relief. I really enjoyed the process of this print and the creativity of figuring out how it could pop out as much as possible! The fact that I used an old discarded plate that had some deep open bites in it added some interesting texture and shapes in the finished print.
